Another loss for the Hawks

At least yesterday the Hawks scored 5 times. Tonight they didn't score until the third and it was just one goal.

Tonight it was all about the goalie. Not Niemi.

Hiller. Gotta give him credit. He stopped everything the Hawks were throwing at him, 42 saves. The Ducks only had 12 shots

Shooting wasn't a problem for the Hawks, it was scoring. Finally in the end of the third Keith had a powerplay goal.

The real embarrassment came with a minute left in the game. The Ducks scored on an empty net. Keith couldn't stop it from happening and showed his frustration by throwing his stick.

All around frustrating game. Final score of 3-1.

Sopel took some for the team. He was clearly in a little pain after blocking a couple shots.

Keith was the second star of the night.

Jack Skille was called up from Rockford today. He played for Hossa. Yes, Hossa.

Hossa is out with a lower body injury and is day to day. Barker was also out of the game tonight again.

A couple streaks ended tonight: Hawks nine straight games of scoring at least four goals and Kane's eleven game point streak.
