Around the UC

-Earlier in the week, the Chicago Tribune said Burish could be back March 7. Well, it could be even sooner.

“From talking to the trainers, I think [it’s] some time in that first week of March,” Burish said after skating on Thursday. “Maybe [March 3] or [March 7]. A lot of dates have been thrown around, but some time in that first week.”

Some of the guys are taking advantage of the Olympic break and going to Jamaica. Not Burish. He's going back to good old Wisconsin.

“I’d like to go to Jamaica with the guys and go somewhere warm and get some sun,” Burish said. “[But] I’ve had a four-month break here, so I’m going to use this time to get ready.

-Blackhawks blog: Blackhawk Up went to Campebells poker tournament and they have quite the story.

Best part, Seabs had a little too much to drink: "Fraser was signing a hat for a fan who walked up to the table, and just after signing it Seabrook — Miller Lite in hand — leaned over me with his hat and said, “Hey can you get this one too?” Seabrook proceeded to scream, “Colin Fraser gonna win the whole thing! Best fucking poker player in the world!” I laughed and watched him stumble away."

Burish: “I’ll be watching quite a bit. I can’t cheer for all of my teammates because some of them are Canadian. But I’ll definitely cheer for [Patrick] Kane.”

Personally, I like the first one better just because Kane looks funny.
