The magic of the bobble head broken

Hawks lose 3-2 against the Blues.

First game back for Bolland! Lots of cheers from the crowd when he took the ice within the first two minutes.

Kane with a breakaway scored the first goal for the Hawks. Major credit to Brouwer with the shot block.

With seconds left in the first Duncs almost ruins his bobble head game. Luckily, the Blues came up short.

End of the first, Hawks lead 1-0. Shots 9-3 Hawks.

Stan Bowman talked about the possibility of trades during intermission.

Random: It was the 2000th consecutive home game for one fan. wow. Thats almost like a career.

Few minutes into the second was the first penalty of the game.

Huet got called for Holding, you don't see that everyday. Kane served the time.

Ref called sticking on Kane but the other refs were payed off (not really) so they took it away.

Hawks turnover lead to the Blues first goal.

Add another Blues goal.

22 seconds left in the second, Blues scored again. Taking the lead 3-1.

In the very last seconds of the second Kane thought he scored but it was just the horn to end the period...

Intermission side note: Two people won the final round of "shoot the puck." Impressive.

Into the third, Hossa scored a short handed goal with a nice pass from Toews.

Final score 3-2.

-Fallon was sent back down to Rockford.

-Hossa has four short handed goals this season.

-The Man from France and the defense weren't on their game tonight.

-Shock of the night: there were no fights. I didn't know that the Blues could actually play hockey.

-Hawks out shot the Blues 34-19.

-According to the Blackhawks Huet will start tomorrow and Niemi should be healthy enough to back up.
