Around the UC: Ovechkin Suspended

-Ovechkin is suspended for two games after his dirty hit on Soupy. Vice Presdient of Hockey Operations Colin Campbell called the hit by Ovechkin "reckless." Ovechkin on the hit: "I don't hit him hard. I just pushed him, but he fell bad." Still no official word on Soupys status, he reportedly was suppose to meet with the team doctors today.

-Nick Boynton, who's been playing for Rockford, will most likely travel with the team to Los Angeles. He was placed on re-entry waivers, which needs to be cleared to play with the team.

-Good news for those of you with Directv, they have reached an agreement with Comcast. Versus should return shortly for you, just in time for playoffs.

-Jesse Rogers reported that the Hawks will be at the Jay Leno show tomorrow night. He said most likely as audience members but he's is not completely sure.

-Don't forget Eric and Kathy's "Sharp Attack" segment with Sharpy will be on tomorrow morning instead of Thursday. Set your Alarm!

-Apparently, the Hawks shitty play of late is a good thing...
