Hawks fall to the Islanders 5-3

Hawks were back and refreshed, so we thought.

Nothing better than seeing all the boys together again. (and more ice time for seabs)

Game started off nicely for the Hawks. Good old Soupy and his red hair scored first for the Hawks. The goal was credited to Soupy and the assist credited to his red hair. Islanders tie it up, not a smooth move by Seabs. But nothing to worry about, yet.

Kane figured if he can't win with the USA, he might as well win with the Hawks. He put the Hawks up 2-1! Hawks ended the first leading in shots 22-9. Everything was all good.

Then the second started and Islanders tie it 2-2. Seconds later the Islanders score again which led to Niemi being pulled. The Man from France was brought in but didn't help much. The start of the game seemed promising but Islanders furthered the lead 4-2.

The game went officially down hill with a Comeau hat trick...

The second ends 5-2 with questionable looking beanie babies on the ice.

Eager puts one in the back of the net but no goal. Yeah, it's that kind of game.

Buff made the score hurt a little less with a goal but Hawks fall 5-3 to the Islanders.
I'm sure the Hawks are just waiting to start it back up at the UC tomorrow!

Some positives:

-Toews continues his Olympic hot streak with 2 assists.
-Kane got 3 points. (1 goal, 2 assists)
