Hawks Win!

The game started off with a tribute to the Hawks Olympians (picture above). All six Hawks came out on to the ice with their medals on, very cool.

In the first there was no goals for either team.

There was a poster I noticed in the background of intermission:
"Kane can I have your mouthguard?"
One word: Creepy!

Hossa put the Hawks on the board first but they didn't have the lead for long the Oilers scored with a reviewed goal. Then quickly after that the Oilers scored again after Hammers stick broke. That should have been called slashing but the refs were not on the Hawks side the whole night.

Hossa set it up and Bolland tapped it in. End of the second, tied 2-2 and shots 33-11 Hawks.

Hammer and Big Buff both scored to put the Hawks on top 4-2. Buff has two goals in two games.Toews got his guaranteed bobble head goal and Hawks win 5-2!

Stars:
1.Hossa (1 goal, 1 assist)
2.Hammer (1st goal in 49 games)
3.Captain (1 goal, 1 assist)

Quick hits:

-12 saves for Huet. Coach Q called his performance "ok"
