-ESPNChicago: Melrose: Why Hawks will win Game 5
-Daily Herald: Hawks fully aware tonight's game is no gimmie
Sharp: "We're a confident team, but we have that balance; I don't think we're cocky by any means. I don't think we're planning too far ahead. We know what we have and how big the challenge is going to be. Closing out a series is always the toughest game to win."
Toews: "It always is. It doesn't matter if you're down 3-0 or 3-1 or it's the seventh game of the series, you never want to lose that fourth game. We know that's the way they're going to be feeling and we expect they'll be coming out with their best performance."
Buff on hits from Burrows: "It's part of the game. It's stupid on his part, but that's the way it goes."
-Vancouver Sun: Forced to listen to Chelsea Dagger all night
"You had to watch the Canucks self-destruct on home ice. I had to watch it, then listen to F-bombing Chelsea F-bombing Dagger not once, not twice, not even three times. But eight times."
-Vancouver Sun: Canucks put their season on the line against Blackhawks
Toews: "As a team we know we can play even better than we have and that's the kind of attitude we have to come with tonight."
Kane: "I guess that is motivation enough, not to have to fly all the way back to Vancouver and play them again there. It's a pretty important game. If they win, they get some momentum and obviously Vancouver is a tough place to play. So it's a huge game tonight. We obviously want to finish them off."
