-The Cup keeps on moving...

"That's Adam Burish with the Stanley Cup on a rooftop across the street from Wrigley Field during the Cubs-A's game on Tuesday night. At right is teammate Dave Bolland." (source)

"The Blackhawks' Stanley Cup tour continued on Wednesday, when Colin Fraser, Kris Versteeg, Andrew Ladd and Troy Brouwer brought the Cup to Ellen Degeneres' 'Ellen's Somewhat Special Special' that was taping at the Chicago Theatre. The show will air Sunday, June 27 at 8 p.m. on TBS." (source)

"Mike Haviland, another Hawks assistant, could also be in demand and it has been rumored the New Jersey Devils could be interested." (source)

Bittersweet to be honest. On one hand, they have a great opportunity to be a head coach and on the other, we lose two great Coaches.

-Possibly one of the greatest jobs in the world: Stanley Cup Chaperone
So who's the lucky guy who got the job, Mike Bolt. I'm betting he has more than a few stories to tell, eleven years full of stories.

Bolt: "Everywhere you go, whether it's New Jersey or wherever, teams say, 'You guys are the greatest fans ever,' and they should be thanking their fans. But to be honest, in my 11 years I haven't experienced anything even close to Chicago. Detroit and Colorado were pretty wild, but Chicago has been unbelievable. We can't go anywhere without being mobbed."

-I'm guessing the guys on the team enjoyed Brian Campbell's gift in their recent celebrations: Blackhawks Get (Cuervo) Platinum Treatment
-Forget about Alcohol to celebrate, How about some chocolate? Chicago Blackhawks Celebrate a "sweet" victory
-The Steelworkers of Buffalo pay tribute to Kane in their own way: Kane recognized by steelworkers
-The number of people wasn't the only high number that came from the parade: Blackhawks' celebration cost $200,000

-The Season maybe over but the Face/Off videos keep on coming: Marian Hossa:

  1. Yay, I love Ellen. I can't wait to see them on the show.

  2. 1. We should totally get tickets to that game against the Red Wings since it's on a Saturday and we'll be back in Chicago.

    2. We should also go to that French Pastry School and steal that chocolate Cup :)

  3. @Viera: I love Ellen too and we know it's going to be hilarious. Can't wait to see what she had to say.

@Athazagoraphobic: I'm so up for that! We need to get tickets, great way to start the school year. Lets get Corie to go too!

I'm also totally up for stealing that chocolate too!

  4. How much do you think the tickets will be with our student discount?

And of course Corie too! And Goettsch!!!

  5. Last year, I got pre season tickets for like 20 bucks but they'll probably be more this year. How could I forget Goettsch?!

  6. By the way, why are there subtitles with the Hossa faceoff video? I mean, his english is not the best but it's not like it's impossible to understand him or anything, right?

  7. I was thinking the same thing! I can understand him perfectly.
