Around the UC:

-What a beautiful cover, huh? It appears not beautiful enough for Sports Illustrated. Strasburg, the second coming of Jesus, got the national cover. So for those of us lucky enough to live in the Chicago area get this cover. Now go buy it! Oh and while you're there make sure to buy the Chicago Tribune book on the Hawks. It's full of pretty picture and heartwarming articles.

-The Hawks signed Mathis Olimb to a one year contract:

"Olimb, 24, spent the 2009-10 season with Frolunda of the Swedish Elite League, leading the team with 25 assists and ranking third with 34 points in 55 regular-season contests. He added four points (G,3A) in seven postseason games. Previously Olimb registered 80 points (27G,53A) in 97 regular-season contests from 2007-09 with Augsburg in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga." -The Cup made the rounds today. As you saw earlier Sharp took it to Eric and Kathy, then Ladd brought it too US99.5: Watch the video here

Yesterday, the Cup took a break from all it's partying and stopped by Children's Memorial Hospital: "At 10 a.m., Quenneville, with the Stanley Cup in hand, strolled into the hospital, sailed past startled gawkers in the corridors and waited behind a curtain while the little patients were summoned by resident storyteller Dot Kane, decked out in a Blackhawks jersey. Kane chirped to the children: "I have a surprise for you." Then the Blackhawks anthem played, the curtain rose, confetti was dispensed -- and the Cup appeared!" For Keith, their last sentence said it all: "In every category that matters, Keith comes out on top."
