As preseason workouts begin, Andrew Ladd interviews with his new team the Atlanta Thrasers:

Keeping it in the Thrashers family, Big Buff will start camp on defense:
"According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, head coach Craig Ramsay has officially annnounced that the versatile Byfuglien will start the season on the blueline." (source)
